Event support for Japanese sake breweries

Sake is increasingly popular overseas, with organisations and individual breweries attending food and wine events to make contacts and open or expand export routes.

Renting a booth and travelling to a European event is a serious investment of time and money. I attend European events and trade fairs on behalf of breweries or groups who can't attend in person, and provide booth support for Japanese teams.

I hold three major qualifications in sake (WSET Level 3, SSI International Kikisake-shi, Certified Sake Professional) so can clearly explain to food and drink professionals or the general public what sake is, the different classes and styles, and how to select, store, pair and serve, in English and French.

CHF 1,500 / day plus all travel, accommodation and associated expenses.

Japanese to English translation that embraces the complexity of sake, tea, coffee and chocolate

The meticulous Japanese approach to food and drink needs no introduction, but benefits from clear and effective communication.

Non-native writing or "lost in" translation may be amusing, but getting people to take Japanese products seriously in an increasingly sophisticated market is no laughing matter.

Translation into English by a native speaker with specialist background knowledge is key to communicating value and passion across linguistic and cultural barriers.

No throwing your content over the wall and hoping it comes back as what you wanted. We'll work together to make sure your text reads naturally, engages the reader, and communicates your unique character and proposition.
