An okan enthusiast and a tea master walk into an event in Paris… and realise how much their respective drinks have in common when it comes to temperature.
Jo Takasaki owns the hot sake bar “Takasaki no okan” in Tokyo, while Katsuhito Imaizumi promotes Japanese tea in Paris. They are celebrating both their friendship and the release of Takasaki’s book on okan with a series of events in Paris and Amsterdam, where you can enjoy both drinks warm alongside a pairing dinner.
